In the Darkness I sit
Thinking of her
The one who is everything
Her quirky little smiles
The sideways glance
When I get weird
Once she asked what it is
How people can view her
The way they do
And after many months
I don’t think I’ve found the answer
But I’ve found words to put it in

The great thing about her
Is when I look in her eyes
And she's looking back in mine
Everything feels not quite normal
Because I feel stronger
And weaker at the same time
I feel excited
And at the same time terrified
The truth is I don't know what I feel
Except I know what kinda man I wanna be
It's as if I've reached the unreachable
And I wasn't ready for it.

I don’t know if those words
Are what she is looking for
But those are what I feel
Everytime I see her
I grow more strong
Yet more weak
More excited
And more terrified
And now I just work
To be the man she deserves
And the day I achieve that
Perhaps her ears will hear those words

I’ll be moved by her
