Did you ever love someone
But feel like they didn't care?
Did you ever feel like crying
And know you'd get nowhere?
Did you ever look into their eyes
While breathing the same air,
Then look down into their hand
and wish your hand was there?
Did you ever hear them breathing
WHen the lights were way down low
And whisper "I really love you,
I don't ever want to let you go!"?
Did you ever feel like you're losing someone
You couldn't bare to live without?
Was their touch reassuring
But their angry words fill you with doubt
Falling in love can lift you up
Then drop you with a blink of an eye.
You can stand strong and be happy
Then fall six feet and die.
If the love is true
You can fix it
But only time will tell.
If I'm not what you want
And you walk away
It'll send me straight to hell.
If ever you find another
And you might ever need a friend
