It’s been almost a year now
And I haven’t taken the time
To sit and write this for you
To remember back to then

Riding home in the car
Revving the engine up
Making the noise with it
Watching you laugh

Walking in the door
See you on the floor
Whispering your name

Picking you up
After you cry
Tickle your side
