Another Day

Today is just another day
I'm doing what I can
To make it through the paces
And hope to stay on dry land.

My eyes they burn from crying
My heart it aches with pain
The tears they just keep coming
Sometimes they fall like rain.

I want to run I want to hide
But I know that that won't do
So instead of that I just keep pace
And try not to think of you.

The problem is you're in my thoughts
And they just won't go away
But today is just anotehr day
And I'll try to keep the thoughts at bay.

If I can make another day
Just one day at a time
This pain will slowly go away
And then my time will be all mine.

So I bid you a fair ado
And maybe just for today
But today is still another day
And for the good in it -- I pray.
